The Aphonopelma chalcodes is a hobby classic and a very docile and majestic creature. One of my favorite for sure. They come from Arizona and vacinity and are quite long lived, 30+ years. They are a good choice for beginners and experienced hobbyist alike. These are around 4.5 inches and selectively collected from private property. I have had them in my collection for several years.
