The atripos is similar to blaberus discoidalis , which was one of the early feeders and was very poplular until dubia came around. Blaberus atripos is a good feeder and hardy enough for beginners. They can also be kept for pets or display aninmals. They are from south America and reach a little over 2 inches at maturity.
