The lasiodora parahybana ,brazilian salmon pink birdeater is one of the largest of all tarantula's. They can reach 8 to 10 inches in lenghth.  They seem like a scary creature, but any that I have seen are not aggressive.  They do like to flick hairs , so they can cause irritation if provoked.
They make a great diplay animal becasue they don't hide,burrow or web up thier enclosure. If you want a great all around BIG specimen, buy lasoidora parahybana, brazilian salmon pink birdeater!
