Product Description

The Blaberus hybrids Fusca/craniifer/giganteus cross is a popluar feeder for those who need a large insect to feed thier bigger eaters.  Big Bearded dragons, moniters et. They are easy to raise and also would make a good pet or display animal.   I accidentaly bred this version because I had a colony of giganteus and thought that I would buy more, but when they matured, I found out too late that I had been given the fusca/craniifer hybid by mistake.  This is how I ended up with the 3 mixed.
It is a good idea to know what you have before you introduce a new bactch to revive an older colony, to be shure of what you have. This mix breeds well and once established , should suppy your feeder needs.  You  can see in the photo the contrast in wing variation that ranges from the jet black of the craniiffer to the almost clear wing of the giganteus and fusca.
The males are around 2 1/4" and the females a little larger at 2 1/2" with a much heavier body.
If you are looking for a big hardy good looking feeder insect, buy blaberus hybrids, they will do the job.

I was worried about the size of the hybrids before ordering, but the hybrids are nearly the size of the Dwarf Cave Roach, and come in a variety of colors!
