The Invert Shop

This is a Tarantula that most people have heard of. Even though fairly common, they are still one of my favorites.  The spiderlings I have available were captive bred (as are all of my spiderlings) by a friend of mine and came from sacks of 4 different females. So if  you want a few blood lines this would work for you.  I have a very large female (pictured) that is as gentile as any creature on the planet.  They are long lived, 30 years +, so they would make a great very long term pet, living about 3 dogs lifetimes.
If you are in the market for one of the long time hobby favorites, buy the aphonopelma chalcodes, Arizona Blonde !

The female in the first photo is not one of the moms, but she is a giant of the species. She is aproaching 6 inches and quite bulky and suprisingly heavy for an aphonopelma, so this species can get big and she is super docile as well.  She must be very close to as big as they get!
